ECO Club

In Omagh County Primary School we aim to make our school more environmentally-friendly.

In the school years 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 we will be focussing on Outdoor Learning (encouraging more lessons to take place in the outdoor environment), Transport (can you leave the car behind and walk or cycle to school?), Litter (can we reuse and recycle more in our classrooms?) and Biodiversity (learning about how to help our school grounds encourage more insects, birds and other wildlife to visit)

We are delighted to have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and hope to achieve our next flag in 2021.

If you have any suggestions for how we can make OCPS more environmentally friendly speak to any member of the ECO-club or Miss Lockington.
