Room 1 have been learning all about 2D shapes in numeracy.  We enjoyed all of the practical activities and especially the interactive activities on our interactive whiteboard.

On Wednesday,  After-School Club visited the school garden for a good old fashioned 'scavenger hunt!'. We really enjoyed exploring for many different objects including a bird, a spiders web, a worm, a flower bud and an acorn. We have also been feeling the early Christmas spirit and enjoying lots of Christmas themed craft! Have a look at our beautiful tissue paper Christmas trees.

Year 1 were delighted to welcome Amy from 'Wandering Wild Forest School' to Omagh County today! Amy lit a campfire using a 'dragon sneezer' to keep us all warm while she entertained us with Christmas forest  stories. We really impressed her with our excellent listening skills and as a reward she allowed us to safely toast marshmallows over the campfire - yum yum!  Santa will be very pleased...
