We were so excited to see Year 1 back at school this week and to hear their half-term holiday news. As we prepare to begin our new topic, it was time to give some of our toys a ‘spring’ clean. P2 were literally mud to the eyeballs after our first visit to ‘The Hill at the High’!  We enjoyed sliding, squelching, digging, rolling, pouring and constructing as we used our imagination to create and explore.A great time was had by all. Have a look at what we got up to!

Nursery had fun over the past couple of weeks exploring Chinese New Year! We tried some Chinese food, made Chinese bunting, made some scary (but not real) dragons and loved using the Chinese fans Ms Bunce brought in to show us!

Year 1 enjoyed lots of treats in honour of Valentine’s Day. A trip to Hill at the High, cooking pancakes, a PTFA Beetle Drive and an adventure to Bob and Berts marked the end of a very special week! A huge thank you to the staff at Bob and Bert’s for their kind hospitality and to Jack and his mummy for supplying us with lots of treats to tuck into with our hot chocolate. Yum yum!  Enjoy...
