As a special treat to mark the end of term, Year 1 attended a special story time session at Omagh Library today. Julie, the librarian, was extremely impressed with the excellent listening skills and had lots of willing helpers as she read through a variety of books. The children heard all about the different events happening in the library over the Summer and we have no doubt they will be back to borrow...

Over the last three weeks Vanessa has been working in Miss Lockington's Year 5 classroom. Vanessa is a primary school teacher who was visiting Northern Ireland from Switzerland. Vanessa (along with her three colleagues) taught us a lot about Switzerland and answered all our questions! Thanks Vanessa - we hope you'll come and visit again.

What a fabulous day P2 had at The Ulster American Folk Park! It all kicked off with the excitement of having a ride on a bus!  When we arrived at the Folk Park we enjoyed our snack before heading off to explore the ‘Old World’. Rooms 3+ 6 enjoyed a fabulous DRY day at the Ulster American Folk Park. It was an AMAZING way to end our 'Houses and Homes' topic, seeing so many items they used in houses long ago!  I think the photos speak for themselves...Enjoy a lovely weekend!
