In the Foundation Stage (P1 and P2) we hold an image of the child as rich in potential and confident in building relationships. We promote positive attitudes and dispositions to learning. We encourage thinking skills, creativity, imagination and curiosity in our pupils. We also seek to develop pupils' communication and numeracy skills as well as their physical and spiritual development. In our classroom learning environments we place great emphasis on the play-based learning in the early years. Children in the Foundation stage also partake in the Modern Foreign Language scheme, learning Mandarin.
