Year 7 at Forest School! 🌳🌞
Our P7 classes had a Forest School and Daily Mile session this week at Arleston Park as part of OCPS Health and Wellbeing Week.
With the sun shining down on us, the forest school site felt warm and welcoming — the perfect place to slow down and enjoy being outdoors together. We began with a gentle Connect and Nurture lesson, giving everyone time to pause, breathe and take in the beauty of the woodland around us. The children explored the site after with curiosity and care, noticing the little details and enjoying the calm, natural space.
It was also Friendship Thursday, which brought an extra sense of joy to our day. As we completed our Daily Mile through the park, there was plenty of laughter, encouragement and kind moments shared along the way. It was lovely to see friendships growing even stronger in such a relaxed and happy setting.
A simple but meaningful day that supported wellbeing, connection and the joy of learning together outdoors.
