Year 6 have been having Futsal sessions from expert Omagh Futsal Club coach David Alonso, and as part of this experience we were invited to a friendly competition at Omagh Leisure Centre. David started by introducing the rules of the tournament, emphasising the importance of safety, respect and of course fun! Then it was down to the football! We had a team of boys and a team of girls and we played a series of exciting matches against Holy Family, St Conor's, Omagh Integrated and Gibson. In the end both teams won some and lost some. There were lots of goals (126!) and everybody joined in and played their part - a really good experience for all involved! Our Kassie even had the great honour of officially scoring the 100th goal of the tournament.
