Year 6 (as always) chose an incredibly warm and sunny day to go on our final outing of the year. We had a brisk stroll over to the Omniplex Cinema for a showing of How to Train Your Dragon and a kind and efficient staff member even opened up the shop just for us! Stocked up with popcorn and other treats we settled down to watch the film. Reviews were generally very good and we all managed to stay awake despite the running time of over 2 hours.
Our next stop was the Grange Park. After another brisk stroll we found a suitable spot for our picnic lunch and then spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the swings, slides, climbing frames etc. An ice-cream van even turned up to serve ice-creams which helped cool us down.
All that was left was to stroll (slightly less briskly) back to school just in time to go home. We all had a great day out and here are a few pictures to enjoy!
