The Year 5 children enjoyed an educational visit to Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, where they took part in a guided tour of the castle and learned about life in the past. They discovered the important roles of servants who worked behind the scenes to keep the castle running smoothly and gained an insight into daily life long ago.
After the tour, the children explored the beautiful walled garden, admiring the colourful flowers, picturesque bridges, and many unique features throughout the grounds. The visit provided a wonderful combination of history, learning, and outdoor exploration.
