Year 2 made a visit to Omagh Library today for a storytelling and illustration workshop. This was taken by local author and illustrator Clive McFarland who started the session by reading his latest book, ‘Standing On One Leg’.
After we enjoyed the story, we had the chance to do some illustrations of our own! Clive showed us how to draw a heron chick from the book. He was very impressed with the artistic talents in P2!
We finished off our trip by playing a book-themed game, during which P2 showed off their excellent listening skills!
