What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in Year 1!
In PE, we’ve been developing our ball skills, practising our kicking and control. We also had a fantastic time at Hill at the High, where we’ve been building confidence and resilience while learning to ride bikes – such amazing determination from everyone!
In class, we’ve been working hard in Literacy, learning to recognise capital letters and spotting them in our reading and writing. In Numeracy, we’ve been challenging ourselves with numbers after and between – super number detectives at work!
To top it all off, we got creative by designing our very own perfumes in honour of all things love this February. The classroom smelt wonderful and there was some amazing handwriting on the labels produced!
Well done, Year 1 – what a brilliant week!
