Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoyed a fantastic end of year trip to Pomeroy Forest Park today, where they explored the Nursery Rhyme and Fairy Tale Trails.
Along the way, the children stopped to listen to stories, sing songs, and discover the wonderful woodland surroundings.
Although the weather was a little wet, the rain certainly didn’t dampen our spirits! In fact, the children agreed that the rain made the playground slides even more exciting and added to the fun!
A special thank you to the team at Pomeroy Forest Visitor Centre for their warm welcome and kindness in providing us with shelter for our break and lunch.
It was a fabulous day and the perfect way to end a very special year! Enjoy a good rest this weekend, boys and girls.
