Today at Omagh County PS, our pupils took a few minutes to pause, reflect, and celebrate Gratitude Day, a lovely idea suggested by our Pupil Wellbeing Champions.
Across the school, every class spent a short time thinking about the things, people, and moments they are thankful for. From family, friends, and pets, to teachers, playtime, and even school dinners — the children’s thoughtful responses reminded us all how important it is to appreciate the little things that make us smile each day.
Our younger pupils drew wonderful pictures of what they are grateful for, while older classes shared their ideas on special “Three Things I’m Grateful For” cards.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and to our Wellbeing Champions for inspiring such a meaningful activity.
