Omagh County had a fabulous morning at the annual Omagh Mini-Rugby blitz.
A lot of local teams from Omagh and Fermanagh took part. Omagh County played matches against Killyman, McClintock, Gibson, Moat, Cookstown and Enniskillen Model. We weren't supposed to be counting scores but the team did really well and we scored lots of tries and made lots of tackles! We had beautiful blue skies and a dry pitch really helped to make the occasion.
A big thank you to Omagh Accies and Ulster Rugby for inviting us along and to Darren McGuigan for taking coaching sessions before the event, and also to Mr. Richard Thompson for coaching and organising the team for the matches!
