Year 5 had a visit from Taekwondo instructors on Friday.
The boys and girls enjoyed learning what 'kihip' meant and how they were supposed to stand once it was shouted. They learned the correct stance, how to keep their hands open when fighting, how to do a powerful kick against a pad and how to score points when fighting.
We had the privilege of admiring many different medals belonging to the instructors and seeing a real taekwondo fight in action.
