We entered three football teams into the annual Gibson PS tournament held in memory of their caretaker Sydney Gilfillan.
There were over 200 pupils taking part, with lots of competitive matches between the players. All three of our teams played some good football and worked very hard for their team-mates! Each match was played with a positive spirit and attitude.
Following the group stage, our P6 team did brilliantly to get into the semi-finals, where we eventually exited the competition following a very tight fixture with McClintock, who went on to win the trophy.
We're very proud of our representatives and would like to thank Gibson PS and Mr Elliott for the invitation to take part in such a fitting and well-run memorial to Sydney.
