Members of OCPS Senior Choir headed to the cinema this morning, with their friends from Holy Family PS, to mark the end of another wonderful year of music in both schools. After, the children were treated to a picnic lunch at Omagh County before participating in the school's much anticipated 'Sounds of Summer' concert. The event showcased a vibrant variety of poetry recitals, instrumental ensembles and choral performances - highlighting the incredible talent and hard work of the pupils. A special feature of the afternoon was a performance by the Shared Education Choir, fresh from their success of winning the 'Unison Cup' at The West Tyrone Feis. The standard of the Shared Choir is a true testament to the strong partnership of staff across both schools.
Sincere thanks go to the EA music tutors for leading the instrumental groups, to past pupil Sarah Bingham for returning to inspire with her percussion skills, and to all the family members whose ongoing support makes events like this so meaningful. Our pupils made us so proud!
