Room 6 enjoy lots of visitors!

4th Apr 2022

Wow! What a lovely time we have had 'hot seating' people who help us to take care and be safe! As part of our topic, we enjoyed some lovely visitors to class this week!

Firstly, we enjoyed the Fire Brigade. It was amazing to see inside the big engine and learn where out nearest hydrant was at Omagh County! It was great to listen to the fireman telling us how to take care and be safe.

Next, we had Tom's daddy in school, showing us special glasses and telling us how we can take care of our eyes. Mr Bryden was put on the 'Hot Seat' and asked lots of interesting questions from the boys and girls.

Finally, we had the Police officers visiting our school. It was amazing to be inside the police car and hear the loud siren blaring! Constable Brady enjoyed answering questions on the 'Hot Seat'and shared lots of funny stories, including his love for DONUTS!

It was great to have lots of new experiences at school for the boys and girls- thank you!
