Our P7 pupils have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Sport 4 Peace Programme, delivered through a partnership between Ulster Rugby, the Irish Football Association and Ulster GAA.
The children enjoyed two sessions in each sport before coming together with our Shared Education partner, Holy Family PS, for a celebration event at Omagh Leisure Complex alongside other local primary schools. It was a fantastic day of sport, teamwork and new friendships.
Pupils also enjoyed meeting members of the PSNI, who visited the event and engaged with the children throughout the day.
We were also delighted to receive a gift of new sports equipment for our school, which will be put to great use in the future.
A huge thank you to our three coaches and to everyone involved in making this such a positive and memorable experience for our pupils.
