Our P7 pupils took part in an engaging online safety workshop delivered by Thrive Academy. The session encouraged children to think carefully about how they use the internet and how to stay safe while doing so. Pupils explored key topics such as protecting personal information, making smart choices online and understanding the risks associated with social media and online gaming.
A highlight of the workshop was a group task where pupils worked together to decide whether a series of online safety statements were true or false. This sparked great discussion and teamwork, with pupils sharing ideas and explaining their reasoning. The activity helped deepen their understanding in a fun and interactive way, leaving them more confident and informed about staying safe online.
