P6 & P7 enjoy the Ulster Rugby Festival at Affidea Stadium in Belfast
OCPS rugby team had a great time at the home of Ulster rugby today in Belfast. We played three competitive matches. It took us the first game to get warmed up, losing 2-1 to Moat PS, we then went on to win the next two games, 3-1 against Jones Memorial and 2-0 against Poyntzpass Primary.
The boys and girls played really well as a team with superb passing and tackling. Well done to Archie who scored tries in every game. Emily and Tom also scored, helping Omagh County to enjoy success.
A run through the famous tunnel, tour of the Ulster changing rooms and meeting the mascot Sparky all added to the excitement of the day.
Huge thanks to Richard Thompson, Omagh Accies Youth Convenor for taking the time to come with us and give us the benefit of your rugby expertise.
