P2 Rumble in the Jungle at Forest School
Our Primary 2 classes enjoyed a fantastic visit to Forest School, where learning came to life in the Jungle!
The children began their session with some lively jungle-themed songs, filling the forest with music and energy.
As part of their outdoor learning, the pupils found 3 'snakes' of different lengths and ordered them longest to shortest. Then they used non-standard units to measure and compare the different snakes. This hands-on approach helped develop their understanding of measurement in a fun and meaningful way.
To finish our session, both classes took part in a friendly ‘Longest Snake’ competition. There was great excitement as the final measurements were taken and the winning class announced!
Well done, P2 – what a fantastic Forest School experience!
