Nursery help the birds
16th Jan 2026
The children in nursery have been learning all about winter and how some animals hibernate while others—like birds—need to keep searching for food. This inspired them to make little bird feeders to help our feathered friends. They absolutely loved creating them and then hanging them up at Hill at the High. Now we’re excited to see whether the birds will have gobbled them all up by next week's visit!
We’ve also been listening to different bird songs and trying to spot them when we’re outside. A little robin enjoyed following the children down hill and singing them a tune!
