Nursery- Looking after our planet
14th May 2026
In nursery, the children have been learning about how to care for our wonderful world. Through stories, discussions and activities, they explored simple ways to help our planet, such as picking up rubbish and keeping our environment clean.
We we talked about what happens when litter ends up in the sea and how it can affect sea creatures, helping the children to understand why it is important to look after our oceans.
The children also enjoyed creating beautiful artwork inspired by planet Earth. Their work was inspired by the idea that little hands can change the world and they produced some amazing pieces that showed both creativity and care for our planet.
We are so proud of their creativity and growing awareness of how to look after our world!
