Mrs Alcorn's Year 4 and Mrs Brown's Year 5 tour Omagh!

4th Mar 2026
On Tuesday Mrs Alcorn's and Mrs Brown's classes had a wonderful tour of Omagh. This walk was part of our World Around Us topic linking to water and bridges.
We had lots of fun in the sunshine and learned many interesting and new facts about the rivers and bridges in Omagh.
We learned how the King James Bridge used to be a wooden structure but is now stone and that people used to pay to cross it!
When we stood on the Strule Bridge, we could see the Drumragh and Camowen river meeting!
As we walked, we answered questions and sketched some of the bridges.
