Today we had the best fun as Ben and Emily from W5 Belfast delivered an exciting Future for Thatch Minecraft workshop to both Primary 6 classes.
We were super excited to take on the challenge of building a Victorian village using Minecraft! Working in teams, pupils designed and constructed their own Victorian houses, using everything they have learned in our World Around Us topic on the Victorians.
The creativity, teamwork and problem-solving on display were fantastic. Each group proudly presented their finished house to the class, explaining the historical features they had included and discussing their design choices.
It was a brilliant, fun-filled day of learning — bringing history to life in a truly engaging way!
