May has been another busy month in Room 1.
In our World Around Us topic we have been learning all about bees and how important they are. We found out all about the lifecycle of a bee and watched videos from inside a beehive.
We learned about Piet Mondrian and how he used primary colours and shapes to create his paintings. We hope you like our work.
We took our sunflowers home so we could take care of them there and watch them grow.
Year 1 allowed us to visit their caterpillars. They were getting ready to go in to their cocoons.
We had a fun at Sports Day, even though it rained a little bit.
The school Jubilee Garden Party was lots of fun. We enjoyed celebrating with the school community.
