Today, P.3 were busy practising measuring with their rulers! We measured lots of objects in the classroom to the nearest centimetre. We had to be very careful to line up the 'zero' correctly, keep the ruler steady and read the scale carefully!
Our Friday Challenge was to draw the blueprints for a house. We had to try really hard with measuring carefully!
It was great to get outdoors with our measuring too, and we can't wait to measure lots more things in our playground next week using the metre sticks.
