Year 1 Explore Autumn
Year 1 were excited to begin their new topic of 'AUTUMN' this week.
We loved observing the changes at Hill at the High and even collected some colourful autumn leaves to bring back to our classroom. In school, there was lots of excitement over the introduction of new toys. The October dressing up box proved very popular, everyone had lots of fun reenacting 'Room on the Broom'.
Our annual Harvest Assembly was a roaring success. We were beyond proud of Year 1 for their amazing performance of 'Tractor Tractor' (we think they stole the show!!) Amidst all the singing, we managed to squeeze in some time to meet REAL babies. Florie, Isaac, Theo and Emily loved the attention from the girls and boys in Year 1.
Have a lovely weekend Year 1!
