This week, our Early Years building became NASA as our little engineers designed and built their own rockets. Using their knowledge of 3D shapes, the boys and girls had great fun ensuring they had a body, nose and fin on their masterpiece. Inspired by their mission, they even created some cone shaped hats and astronauts. Make sure to ask us which planet we visited on our trip!
Making the most of all the junk materials, we created lava lamps using our knowledge of 'half full'. Can you remember if the oil or water was heavier?
The wet weather didn't dampen our spirits at Hill at the High. Lots of construction happening in the stone pit with some wonderful team work observed. Fantastic Year 1!
