Inspired by the story 'Whatever Next', the children in Year 1 decided to open their very own 'Alien Cafe'. Travelling to space is hungry work and astronauts would surely need somewhere to stop for a snack. Everyone has enjoyed taking orders, using the till and getting to handle REAL money!
We were also excited to introduce percussion instruments this week. Can you remember the name of the instrument we held? We were very impressed by the dance moves in Year 1 as we explored 'gravity' with our sensory scarves.
