Room 3 have been enjoying the lovely autumnal weather. On Monday we went to Forest School. We were tasked with finding different signs of autumn.
We looked for;
- Orange leaves
- Red leaves
- Brown leaves
- Yellow leaves
- Berries
- Fungi
- Conkers
- Bare trees
- Pinecones
We found plenty of autumn treasure, which we collected and brought back to school.
We used crayons to create beautiful leaf rubbing pictures. We put our Numeracy thinking caps on and counted our conkers in groups of 10. We believe we counted 170 conkers! Wow! And we completed a shared writing recount of our visit.
