Anti-Bullying Week and World Kindness Day 2025

14th Nov 2025

This week our school joined together to celebrate World Kindness Day and Anti-Bullying Week, embracing positivity, creativity and respect.

Here’s how each class took part:

Year 1 showed kindness in action by helping to clean and organise their classrooms, working together to take care of their environment and support one another.

Year 2 baked kindness cakes with sprinkles, sharing them and discussing how thoughtful actions can brighten someone’s day.

Year 3 proudly celebrated Odd Socks Day, recognising that everyone is unique and that differences should be celebrated.

Year 4 combined a Connect and Nurture session with Forest School. They also created their own Power for Good superheroes who stand up for kindness and support their friends.

Year 5 designed thoughtful and colourful Power for Good posters, focusing on how to show kindness and challenge unkind behaviour.

Year 6 explored what kindness really looks like by sorting different actions into “kind” and “unkind”. They then created brilliant Power for Good acrostic poems, showing how every letter can inspire positive behaviour.

Year 7 used Adobe Express to design digital anti-bullying posters and worked in groups to explore real-life scenarios, discussing how to respond with empathy, confidence, and respect.

P7 also delivered a whole school assembly to let the boys and girls know what bullying behaviour is and who to report it to and how to report it.

We are incredibly proud of how our pupils embraced the message of kindness this week.
