🥤🧪 P5’s Capacity Café & Air Pressure Adventures! 🧪🥤
This week, P5 class turned into junior mixologists and scientists! 🎉
First up was our Capacity Café, (led by our student teacher Miss Emerson) where the children designed and made their own drinks, carefully measuring ingredients and experimenting with different combinations. From fruity mixes to fizzy surprises, it was a fantastic (and tasty!) way to explore volume and capacity in a real-world context. The best part? Enjoying their delicious creations afterwards! 🍹✨
Then it was time to switch gears for some science magic! In our air pressure experiment, the children investigated how to get a boiled egg into a bottle—without touching it! 🤯 Using heat, observation, and a bit of patience, they saw how changes in air pressure can create surprising effects. A perfect hands-on way to bring science to life!
A big well done to our curious, creative, and collaborative learners today. 👏🧠💡
