🌲🕊️ P5 Forest School Adventure! 🕊️🌲
This afternoon, our P5s had a fantastic time at Forest School! On the walk there, they became nature detectives, using their keen eyes to spot different birds along the way. From flitting robins to hoovering herons, there was plenty to see!
Once we arrived, it was time to look to the skies! The children explored the clouds using their cloud finders, identifying all sorts of different cloud types – a perfect mix of science and sky-gazing wonder. ☁️🔍
Then came the big challenge: building birds’ nests! Working in small groups, the children gathered natural materials and used their imagination and teamwork to create cozy, camouflaged nests just like real birds would.
We’re so proud of their curiosity, creativity, and cooperation throughout the afternoon. What a brilliant way to learn outdoors! 🌳💚
