🌿 Outdoor Maths Adventures in P6! 🌿
This week, Primary 6 have been exploring 2D shapes and their properties in a very hands-on way. With the beautiful weather on our side, we took our learning outdoors and searched the school grounds for different shapes, carefully recording our findings on clipboards.
Our adventure continued at Arleston Park and Forest School, where we collected natural materials such as twigs, leaves, stones, and conkers. Back in the classroom, we used these to create our very own 2D shapes — and I’m sure you’ll agree they turned out fabulous!
It may have meant lots of glue, leaves, and twigs scattered around the classroom, but it was well worth it for a fun-filled few days of outdoor learning.
✨ Well done, P6 — fantastic work! ✨
