On Tuesday 22nd October, Year 4 and Year 5 had a special visitor. Elliot's grandpa,Mr David Kyle Ewing came in to talk to the pupils about his time at Omagh County Primary School. Mr Kyle Ewing was one of the first pupils to attend Omagh County Primary School when it opened here on its present site. On Thursday 10th October Mrs Alcorn's class took part in BBC Teach Growth Mindset and Wellbeing online lesson. Pupils explored: recognising emotions; developing resilience and a growth mindset; and tips for self-care. In the photos below you can see us trying out a technique of mindfulness called 'Finger Breathing'.
