My Place and Yours!

Our new World Around Us Topic is, 'My Place and Yours!' The children helped us plan our topic through our KWL grid, and since then, we have been putting our learning into gear!

Money, Money, Money in Mrs Crosbie's Class!

This week in our Number tasks, we have been learning about Money! We have been busy shopping, counting sets of coins and laying out amounts. In our Mental Maths, we have been counting in groups of 2,5 and 10, which has really helped us count our coin collections!
We have really enjoyed our sessions, practically laying out the coins we need and thinking of other clever ways to make amounts....

Designed and built rockets using the everyday 3D shapes found in the different packets and packaging from home.
