Author Paula O\'Toole launches her new book at OCPS

Year 1 were very excited to welcome local author, Paula O'Toole' to OCPS on Wednesday 21st May. Paula has written a new book, titled 'Let Us In Nana Jean'. Year 1 were treated to a special reading of the book by Paula herself. The book is available to buy now on Amazon!
The rain stayed away while Pupils from Year 1-7 to participated in their annual 'Sports Day' event at OCPS. There were smiles all around as the boys and girls raced their way to the finish line in the sprint, sack, egg and spoon and relay competitions. Omagh County took part in the Annual McDonalds Soccer Sixes at the Station Centre. The team played extremely good football, winning 4 games and not conceding any goals! Unfortunately we were knocked out at the semi-final stage on penalties by Holy Family, who went on to win the competition. Jimmy Ortega was selected as an All-Star player, and Saimon Puska was awarded the Player of the Tournament trophy!...
With the fantastic weather we thought of ways to cool down in nursery. The best option seemed to be a 'pool party'!
We had so much fun yesterday, we decided to do it again today but a little more prepared in swimsuits! The boys and girls thought it was a swimming pool, not a paddling pool!
