Flanders Fields at OCPS!
6th Nov 2025
The children in Mrs Crosbie's class have been learning about Remembrance Day. Today, Miss Funston led a whole school assembly, and back in class, the children in P.3 made some poppies using tissue paper and lots of glue! We took them out to the school garden, and we thought our display looked like Flanders Fields. 🌺🌺 "We will remember them."
Intergenerational Project

This week year 5 began their new intergenerational project with the residents of Harold McCauley House. The pupils introduced themselves to the residents and also found out some information, including their favourite food, animals and colours. Everyone is looking forward to our next visit in December.
Halloween Activities

Miss Feeney's class enjoyed their Halloween art and sensory activities. The Halloween disco was lots of fun, especially dressed up. We really liked the disco light.

Today at Hill@High, the children in Mrs Crosbie's class had the added fun of 'learning by doing' in the tool shed! Children had the opportunity of using REAL saws, REAL hammers and nails, REAL screw drivers and so much more! Have a look to see what we got up to!
