Year 1 Explore Autumn

Year 1 were excited to begin their new topic of ' AUTUMN ' this week.
We loved observing the changes at Hill at the High and even collected some colourful autumn leaves to bring back to our classroom. In school, there was lots of excitement over the introduction of new toys. The October dressing up box proved very popular, everyone had lots of fun reenacting 'Room on the Broom'.

What an exciting day P.3 enjoyed today! Firstly, a visit to Mulligans bakery, where children got to see the big ovens and mixers where all the sweet treats are made. Then children got to decorate a cupcake with lots of delicious sprinkles and spooky toppers! Room 3 have been enjoying the lovely autumnal weather. On Monday we went to Forest School. We were tasked with finding different signs of autumn. We looked for;

Our P5 class had a wonderful morning at Forest School today, exploring the signs of autumn all around us. The children spotted squirrels, robins, and even a heron during their adventure! πΏοΈπ¦πͺΆ
They did a fantastic job identifying a range of different types of trees, studying the variety of leaves, and creating some beautiful observation drawings of what they found. πβοΈ
