A Shed Full of Possibilities!

This week, we were delighted to unveil our brand-new tool shed at Hill at the High. This fantastic addition will help children across the school enjoy hands-on learning experiences and explore the outdoors in new and creative ways. Year 1 and 2 pupils have been testing it out over the past two days and are thrilled with. Lots of little engineers in the making!

Active Learning with Izak 9 in Primary 6!

Today, Primary 6 had their first experience using Izak 9 – and what a fantastic session it was!
We’ve been learning all about multiples, so pupils worked in groups to complete an exciting multiples challenge. Teamwork, problem-solving, and quick thinking were all on display as everyone collaborated to find the correct answers.

Nursery porridge was 'just right'!

Today nursery enjoyed reading 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. There was lots of discussion about porridge - who loved it (including which family members) and who really didn't like it at all! Then as a special treat, we enjoyed making and tasting our porridge which thankfully was like Baby Bear's porridge... not too hot.. not too salty...just right.

Room 3 begin ICT!

Room 3 have been learning how to use the school laptops. We have been learning to use our own usernames and passwords. Once logged on we explored the app. Just2Easy. We've enjoyed drawing what we get up to over the weekend and experimenting with different features on the app. Have a look at how much fun we had!

Numbers to 50 at Hill at the High!

Room 3 headed off to Hill at the High on this lovely autumn day. The numbers 1 to 50 had been hidden in lots of different places. We had to find them and put them into order using the skills we have been learning in Numeracy lessons. Whilst there, we also enjoyed digging in the mud, cooking in the mud kitchen making dens from the fallen branches after Storm Amy, fishing with sticks and...
