Nursery enjoy getting back to 'Hill at the High'

The boys and girls in Nursery had a lot of fun getting back to Hill at the High after the Easter break! They enjoyed baking some more mud pies and mixing 'hot chocolate', running to the safety of the trees to escape 'the big, bad wolf', sending out the rescuers to save those stuck in the mud, digging for precious treasure, making dams to stop the rain water rolling down the hill, building houses and...

We are very proud of the children in Room 1 who each received a medal for their amazing artwork that was entered into the Tyrone Feis.  They worked extremely hard with Miss Bleakley to create their work for the last month, and it paid off :)

As part of our World Around Us topic, TAKE CARE, BE SAFE,  the paramedics visited Year 3 today🥳We enjoyed lots of hands on experience and got to see inside the amazing ambulance!Back in class, we enjoyed practising our new, skills during our Play Based Learning! Thank you to Ian and Connor for sharing a sneak peek into how they help us to 'take care and be safe' 🏥

Year 2 (room 2) returned to school laden with crafts after a spring activity morning organised by the Early Years team at the South West College.The children made lots of spring crafts, enjoyed stories and songs, had a healthy snack and even planted their own seeds. We had a great morning- have a look at some of the activities we got up to!
