Do Dream Catchers Catch Dreams?

Here in Room 5 we've been investigating how Native Americans lived and have explored some of the traditions they practiced including making dream catchers. The American Indians hung dreamcatchers above where they slept and believed that they could protect people who are sleeping from nightmares while still letting the good dreams come through. As our dream catchers are still proudly on display in our classroom we've yet to test this idea out!
